Winter isn't just coming; it's already here!!!! Here we are filling up all the hay feeders with the help of Sweet Pickles, Sprocket, and Sweet Pea! Everybody is already all fluffed out, and the donkeys are especially fuzzy! Not sure what that says about the weather since it's only November now...

Meet our newest long-eared additions: 9 year old Jasmine (Maybe...?) and her 9 month old daughter, Annabelle! They joined our farm on 5-07-18 to help guard our goats from neighborhood and feral dogs along with our current guardian dogs who protect from more wildlife type predators. We're excited to get to know them and to get them settled in in their pen near the goats (until they get used to their new horned friends through the fence). And... P.S... There may be a surprise in mommy donkey's tummy! Shhhhhh!!!!!!! It's only a maybe, but wouldn't that be fun? This little lady out of Peppermint Patty is still available! She is
$250 and can go to her new home on Feb. 20. <3 We're getting down to the wire for kidding season and are SO VERY excited around here! ;) As a little teaser, here are a few technical terms that you might want to know:
Happy Birthday to Tombstone and Josephine! We love you both very much, and can hardly believe that it's been four years since you were so teensy!
I tried to get some good goat photos yesterday and Red Hot told me exactly what she thinks of me! Lol! Silly lady!
Breeding season is over for another Fall and it's time to take the ladies back to their pasture. They don't seem to mind following Mom back to the barn at all! From left to right, that's Red Hot, Patty up front, Snickerdoodle behind her, Peaches, Lolli in front, Bunny behind her, then Josephine in front on the far right, followed by Frappe.
